Continuance and development of the Church

 The entrepreneurial spirit and the initiative of St. Paul helped him overcome all obstacles. He brings to the extreme consequences the doctrine of the Lord. In his eyes, everything is done:  there are no slaves in the Church,  no distinction between Greek and barbarian anymore. As Peter often refers to the past, Paul turns towards the future, if Peter is the man of tradition, Paul is the man of progress.

This is why Providence wanted to associate both, Peter and Paul to the education  of the community of Rome which would become the mother of Christianity. They will remain inseparable until the end of time because it is in the fusion of diversity that is assured the continuance and development of the Church of Jesus Christ.



  L'esperit emprenedor i la iniciativa de Sant Pau el feren superar tots els obstacles.  Ell porta a les conseqüències extremes la doctrina del Senyor: als seus ulls, és cosa feta, ja no hi ha esclaus dins l'Església, ja no hi ha distinció entre el Grec i el bàrbar. Així com Pere sovint es refereix al passat, Pau es gira vers l'avenir; Si Pere és l'home de la tradició, Pau és l'home del progrés.

És per això, que la Providència ha volgut associar als dos apòstols l'educació de la comunitat de Roma que havia d'esdevenir la mare de la cristiandat. Ells restaran inseparables fins a la fi dels temps perquè en la fusió de la seva diversitat quedarà assegurada la permanència i el desenvolupament de l'Església de Jesucrist.
