The stem, the spike, the wheat ...

Two cells bind themselves together and and a new living being springs. As the sower expects  the crop that he has planted to grow, a mother can come and go, but day and night inside her a prodigious miracle is taking place. Looking at the nursery where their fragile marvel will soon slepp, ¿ can a father and mother think they were the only authors? In the little eyes of a newborn that still can't look, very soon will shine the flame of intelligence. This kid will think, speak, he will distinguish good from evil. Inside him lives the germ of the wise, of the artist, of a saint. In the parable of the sower, but at another level, the silent work will also be divine: first the stalk, the ear, the corn ... Certainly, the child, the teenager, and the man, will personally collaborate in the work of God, but, ¿ whom we owe our physical growth and the development of our natural gifts if not to the Author of  life and absolute ruler of days?


  Dues cèl·lules incompletes s'uneixen i brota un nou ser vivent. Com el sembrador espera que creixi la collita una vegada ha sembrat, la mare pot anar i venir, però de dia i de nit s'obra en ella un miracle prodigiós. Contemplant el bressol on dormirà després la seva fràgil meravella ¿ poden un pare i una mare pensar que ells sols han estat els autors? En aquests ullets que encara no saben mirar brillarà molt aviat la flama de la intel·ligència. Aquest petit pensarà, parlarà, distingirà el bé del mal. En ell hi ha el germen del savi, de l'artista, d'un sant. En la paràbola del sembrador, encara que a un altre nivell, s'efectuarà també l'obra divina: primer la tija, l'espiga, el blat... Certament, el nen, l'adolescent, i l'home, hauran de col·laborar personalment en l'obra de Déu, però ¿ a qui devem el nostre creixement físic i el desenvolupament dels nostres dons naturals si no a Aquell que és l'autor de la vida i senyor absolut dels dies?
