They all understood the same truth

 With the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, many people who spoke different languages ​​they understood the same truth, of which they became messengers, once returned to their countries.

This supranational character, that now may seem so natural, was then of  an unprecedented novelty.  A different society emerged on earth. The Holy Spirit came to found "a kingdom that was not of this world" which would abolish distinctions of  homelands and races, classes and castes. Some years were needed during which the young Church should consolidate in the heart of the ancient Israel, but the barriers did not take long to fall so that pagans could be welcome too. And if the differences in culture and nationality subsisted externally, as well as the social diversity, all other differences melt under the hot wind of the Holy Spirit in a fraternal humanity.

  Amb la vinguda de l'Esperit Sant el dia de la Pentecosta, molta gent que parlava llengües diferents varen comprendre la mateixa veritat, de la qual varen esdevenir missatgers, una vegada retornats als seus països. 

Aquest caràcter supranacional, que actualment ens pot semblar tant natural, constituïa una novetat sense precedents. Sorgia una societat diferent de les altres societats de la terra. L'Esperit Sant venia a fundar "un reialme que no és d'aquest món", on serien abolides les distincions de pàtries i de races, de classes i de castes. Varen haver de passar alguns anys durant els quals calia que la jove Església es consolidés en el sí  de l'antic Israel; però les barreres no van tardar a caure per acollir als pagans vinguts en massa. I si les diferències de cultura i nacionalitat subsistien exteriorment, així com la diversitat de condicions socials, de la mateixa manera es varen fondre les divergències sota el buf ardent de l'Esperit Sant en una gran humanitat fraternal.
