The merciful King

Jesus had predicted his death: the day that he would be raised high on a cross, from where he would attract all men to him.

Rejected by the powerful, the wise and the skeptics, he will be forever king of those who seek the truth. This king crowned with thorns is forever the hope and shelter of those who suffer. Crucified, he is forever the merciful King who forgives repentant sinners. King of sincere spirits, King of bruised hearts, King of straight or straightened wills, King who saves and transforms the world from the cross flushed with blood, ornata Regis purpura.

  Jesús havia predit la seva mort: el dia que seria elevat en una creu,  des d'on atrauria tots els homes vers ell.

Rebutjat dels poderosos, els savis i els escèptics, serà eternament el rei dels que busquen la veritat. El rei coronat d'espines és per sempre el refugi i l'esperança  dels que sofreixen. Clavat a la creu, és per sempre més el Rei misericordiós que perdona els pecadors que es penedeixen. Rei dels esperits sincers, Rei dels cors masegats, Rei de voluntats rectes o redreçades, que salva i transforma el món des de la creu envermellida de sang, ornata Regis purpura.
