If only the Magnificat...

Undoubtedly, until the last day of our history, there will be men who will discredit and reject the beloved Son of the Father; On the other hand, however, nobody like him will have received a more tender love, pure, ardent, generous... From the passionate love of saints to the  painful love of converted  sinners(...) If only the "Magnificat" of Mary and the "Remember Me" of  the good thief had risen to heaven, that would have ben worth Jesus descending from heaven. ¡And how many human lips have repeated time and again these two prayers!

 Sens dubte, fins al darrer dia de la nostra història, hi haurà homes que desacreditaran i rebutjaran el Fill estimat del Pare; per altra banda, però, ningú haurà obtingut més amor que ell, l'amor més tendre, el més pur, el més ardent, el més generós, des de l'amor apassionat dels sants fins a l'amor dolorós dels pecadors convertits(...) Encara només hagués escoltat pujar de la terra el Magnificat de Maria i el Recordeu-vos del bon lladre, això ja valia que Jesús baixés del Cel. I quants llavis humans han repetit una vegada i una altra aquestes dues pregàries!
